Before Investing in Multifamily Property

The value of a multifamily property can be influenced by many factors however there are certain characteristics of a property that are unique to each property depending on the age, location, and how the property was maintained by the seller. Some of these can be fixed or cured and some are just not curable. If it is possible to fix a deterioration or Obsolescence the buyer needs to evaluate the cost of fixing. If the cost is more than the value such an expense will add to the property, the property would not be a good buy. On the other hand, if the cost of fixing something is less than the value such an expense will add to the property, the property has an upside making it a good buy.
